Sunshine Foundation makes dreams come true for children with chronic conditions
BUCKS COUNTY, Pennsylvania (WPVI) -- A national organization has been making dreams come true one child at a time, and it's all headquartered in Southampton, PA.
Sunshine Foundation makes the effort to bring happy experiences to children with chronic conditions or disabilities, also those who have experienced trauma.
The foundation sets itself apart by providing these experiences even if the children are not facing a life-threatening circumstance.
This is to show appreciation for their personal struggles, and to provide relief to the family members as well.
Most of their families could not afford a trip on their own due to expenses for their child's care.
"Life is wonderful...and there's nothing really any of us can't deal with because I see what these children deal with...we want to be there to give them something special," said President of the Sunshine Foundation, Kate Sample.
