Central Bucks School District names Joanna Wexler as finalist for new superintendent

DOYLESTOWN, Pa. (WPVI) -- The Central Bucks School District has announced Joanna Wexler as its choice to be the next superintendent.

She is currently the assistant superintendent of Great Valley School District in Chester County.

Wexler will be introduced by the district at a forum at Central Bucks West High School on April 8.

A vote to approve her hiring is scheduled for April 14.

The district fired superintendent Steven Yanni amid claims he misled police about abuse in a special needs classroom.
