Suspect charged with murder, robbery and theft in stabbing death of 93-year-old in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The Philadelphia District Attorney's Office has announced charges against a suspect accused of killing a 93-year-old man.

Coy Thomas, 53, was taken into custody on Sunday at 22nd and Lehigh avenues.

He has been charged with murder, robbery and theft.

Thomas was wanted in connection with the stabbing death of 93-year-old Lafayette Dailey.

Dailey, a military veteran, was found dead inside of his home on the 4500 block of North 16th Street in the city's Logan section on December 5.

Dailey's car and wallet were missing, although his car was later recovered.

Coy Thomas is being held without bail.
