
PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A 17-year-old is in critical condition after a fight broke out during a party in Philadelphia's Logan section.
Police responded to the 4500 block of N. Carlisle Street around 11:45 p.m. on Monday.
When officers arrived, they found the teen a few blocks away, with multiple stab wounds to the back and leg.
"There was a fight amongst several people, including this 17-year-old, and during the fight is when the 17-year-old juvenile male was stabbed multiple times," said Chief Inspector Scott Small with the Philadelphia Police Department.
Police applied a tourniquet to the victim's leg before rushing him to the hospital, where he is undergoing surgery.
Police say there are surveillance cameras in the area that they hope will help them in this investigation.
No other information has been released at this time.
Police are investigating.
