Texas home intruder turns out to be deer that wandered into house

HOUSTON, Texas (WPVI) -- Police in Houston, Texas were faced with an unexpected surprise when they responded to a home invasion call.

The suspect was a deer that had wandered in through an open window.

The homeowner was alerted to an intruder by an alarm system.

Officers helped the animal back outside, although it had a difficult time on the wood floors.
