Glamping at Pennsylvania state parks

Underused campsites in Pennsylvania are getting a glow up.

If you love the outdoors but not the idea of "roughing it," then it is time to go glamping!

State leaders talked about the expansion at French Creek State Park in Elverson on Tuesday.

The Timberline Glamping Company is outfitting 61 sites across eight state parks, including French Creek, which straddles Chester and Berks counties.

The Deluxe Safari and Double Deluxe Safari tents come with real beds, electricity and climate control.

There's even a Keurig so you can enjoy a cup of coffee as you watch the sunrise.

Nightly stays cost between $130 and $200.

Online reservations are already open for the spring.

It's estimated that 34% of new campers choose the "glamping" experience.
