MT. LAUREL, N.J. (WPVI) -- A South Jersey organization wants to make sure every child opens at least one gift this holiday season.
Toys for Tots in Burlington County is seeking even more community support.
This year, organizers anticipate needing to help more than 85,000 children.
About 40% of them are members of military families.
"My concern is there's a lot of businesses that didn't take boxes that normally take every year, and that's because they didn't want their employees to feel pressured, which is understandable," said Toys for Tots coordinator Gina Capate.
Volunteers need items for all ages, but especially gifts for children over nine years old.
Donations can be dropped off at the Toys for Tots location at the East Gate shopping center in Mount Laurel, New Jersey.
