U.S. Army Reserve's 118th Birthday Celebration

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The U.S. Army Reserve celebrated its 118th birthday on Thursday at Independence Mall.

Lieutenant General Robert D. Harter, Chief of the Army Reserve, was on hand for the event that included an enlistment ceremony for 118 soldiers.

The commemoration continued at the Betsy Ross House with a reenlistment ceremony and ceremonial cake cutting, honoring the service and legacy of Army Reserve Soldiers.
