What started as a leap of faith has grown into a true family business at Wagonhouse Winery in Swedesboro.

Founded by Daniel and Heather Brown more than 20 years ago, the winery now produces more than 30 wines.

Guests can sample everything from their flagship estate-grown dry wines to sweet fruit wines dubbed The Three Boys Brand, and a cream wine collection, called The Vintner's Wife.

The family-friendly property also features a courtyard, gazebo, pet farm animals, and a tasting room serving light bites, wine flights, gelato flights, and wine-based cocktails.

For America's 250th anniversary, Wagonhouse created a red, white, and blue Star Spangled Sangria with a touch of edible sparkle.

Cedar Rose Vineyards

At Cedar Rose Vineyards in Rosenhayn, NJ, friends Dustin Tarpine and Steve Becker got their start right after college, planting their first vines before opening the winery six years later.

Today, their 20-acre vineyard supplies wines that showcase the region's soil and growing conditions.

The winery pairs its wines with a full food menu, charcuterie boards, and creative monthly tasting events that range from wine and cheese pairings to wine and wings, wine and macarons, and even wine and ice cream.

Visitors can also enjoy customizable wine flights and mimosa flights while taking in the scenic vineyard setting.
