Woman accused of hitting victim with SUV after road rage incident in Bucks County

SOUTHAMPTON, Pa. (WPVI) -- A woman is facing aggravated assault charges after police say she intentionally hit another woman with her SUV in Bucks County.

It happened Tuesday, Nov. 4, at the United Gas Station on the unit block of Street Road in Southampton.

Police say 64-year-old Linda Eckert followed another woman into the parking lot after a road rage incident.

Eckert then allegedly drove into the woman, hitting her in the leg and knocking her to the ground.

Eckert fled the scene but was arrested a short time later, investigators say.
