Woman found fatally shot in Kensington backyard

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A woman was found shot and killed Saturday morning in the Kensington section of Philadelphia, according to the Philadelphia Police Department.

Authorities responded to reports of a shooting around 9:45 a.m. on the 2500 block of North Front Street.

An adult female was found in the backyard of a property with a gunshot wound to the right side of her neck.

Her identity has not yet been released.

No arrests have been made, and investigators have not determined a motive.
