Delaware County mother charged after 3-year-old daughter found dead inside car in Maine

HAVERTOWN, Pa. (WPVI) -- A woman from Havertown, Delaware County, is facing charges in connection with the death of her three-year-old daughter in Maine.

Officials there found the body of a three-year-old girl inside of a car in the town of Milford Saturday night.

The vehicle was owned by the child's mother, 40-year-old Kelly Brown, from Havertown.

An autopsy will now be performed to determine the cause of death.

Brown was arrested and charged with manslaughter early Sunday morning. However, the charges could be modified, depending on the autopsy results.
