PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A woman has pleaded guilty nearly three years after the deadly shooting of a SEPTA bus driver in Philadelphia's Germantown neighborhood.
District Attorney Larry Krasner says 24-year-old Zhontay Capers admitted to killing 45-year-old Bernard Gribbin, who was shot while driving a Route 23 bus in October of 2023.

Capers pleaded guilty to third-degree murder and several gun charges after originally facing a first-degree murder trial.

She is scheduled to be sentenced on October 9.
