Woman shot, killed in North Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A 41-year-old woman was shot and killed in North Philadelphia Sunday night.

It happened in the 3000 block of North 15th Street.

Police were initially called to the scene at 11:30 p.m. for reports of a stabbing, but when they arrived, they found the woman with gunshot wounds to her neck and chest.

She was rushed to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

No word on who killed her or a motive.
