Woman struck by car in Deptford, N.J.

DEPTFORD, N.J. (WPVI) -- A woman is in the hospital after she was hit by a car in Deptford, New Jersey.

Police say the woman was hit while crossing Delsea Drive near Lexington Street around 11:30 p.m. Saturday.

She was taken to Cooper University Hospital in stable condition.

The driver of the striking vehicle remained at the scene.
