
Young athletes are enjoying the World Cup fever at the WSFS Bank Sportsplex in Chester.
The Philadelphia Union's youth summer programs and individual team practices officially kicked off on Monday.
The 6 week program features 12 team practices running through late July.
The young athletes have also gotten the chance to meet with members of Ivory Coast's national team.
The summer programming will end with a tournament at the end of July.
The summer camps are a collaboration between the Philadelphia Union and Widener University.
The programs are designed to help players of all levels learn the game's tactics in a safe, fun, and competitive environment.
