VIDEO: Coach ordered not to pray with players
Coaches at a high school in Lewes, Delaware have been ordered to step away from the huddle when their players pray.

LEWES, Del. (WPVI) -- A coach at a high school in Lewes, Delaware has been ordered to step away from the huddle when his players pray.

Someone sent a photo to the Freedom from Religion Foundation that shows the head coach of Cape Henlopen High School praying with players during their post-game ritual.

Attorneys for the organization sent a letter to the district saying public school staff cannot endorse religion.

The coach was taken aback by the criticism, but says he plans on honoring the decision.

Players say they will continue to pray.
