Tours being offered of new Philadelphia Mormon Temple

SPRING GARDEN (WPVI) -- The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is nearing completion of its Temple being built at 1739 Vine Street in Philadelphia.

The Church announced that there will be an open house for the public.

The Philadelphia Temple will be open for tours from August 10th to September 9th.

There are no tours on Sunday.

The temple will be dedicated on Sunday, September 18th.

Only church members considered to be in good standing can enter any Mormon Temple.
