Burglar targets BBQ restaurant in Roxborough

Police are searching for a burglar who broke into a BBQ restaurant in the city's Roxborough section on February 1.

ROXBOROUGH (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are investigating a burglary inside a BBQ restaurant in the city's Roxborough neighborhood Sunday morning.

It happened at Deke's BBQ on the 400 block of Shurs Lane.

The burglar was caught on surveillance breaking the glass on the garage door just before 6 a.m.

Once inside, the suspect stole $138 and a black iPhone 3 before fleeing the scene.

Police describe the suspect as a white male, 20 to 30 years-old with a thin build and possibly with a beard. He was wearing a hooded sweatshirt, zip-up jacket and dark colored gloves.
