Police in Philadelphia have arrested a group of juveniles in connection with attacks on Roman Catholic High School students.

SPRING GARDEN (WPVI) -- Police in Philadelphia have arrested a group of juveniles in connection with attacks on Roman Catholic High School students.

Sources tell Action News that the attack on a Roman Catholic student last month was caught on surveillance video. That video was in part what led to the arrest of the four juveniles.

Police tell us all four juveniles have admitted to their involvement in that attack.

Police say that during questioning one of the four juveniles admitted to also being involved in an attack on another Roman Catholic student, Jimmy Fallon, who was jumped the same week as the other incident.

Right now, detectives are trying to determine to what extent, if any, the remaining three suspects may have been involved in Fallon's attack.

Police say two Roman Catholic High School students were attacked this week.

The attack left Fallon with a badly injured eye and a concussion.

Fallon was walking from school to the train station when he was pummeled by a group of kids in front of the Municipal Services Building at JFK Blvd. and Broad Street. His parents tell Action News that they now drive him to and from school, and that he is still suffering from headaches.

Details pertaining to the condition or injuries of the other victim have not been released. But police say this is a growing problem in the city.

Police expect the questioning of the suspects to continue for several more hours.

Action News is told that the suspects attend the Philadelphia Electrical and Technical Charter in Center City.

The mother of one of the juvenile suspects tells Action News that she received a call from the school that her 14-year-old son was arrested around 11 a.m. Thursday. She says she has been waiting at the police department looking for answers, but hasn't gotten any yet.

The boy's mother claims her son does not have a history of problems, but has lately been hanging around with what she called "the wrong crowd".
