Second driver sought in fatal crash on Route 422 in Montgomery County

WEST POTTSGROVE, Pa. (WPVI) -- Police in Montgomery County now say they're searching for a second driver in connection with a fatal crash early Saturday.

Witnesses tell police a black Dodge Challenger was racing a 2007 BMW on eastbound Route 422.

Then, the BMW slammed into a tree in West Pottsgrove Township.

Two passengers died, and the driver is in critical condition.

Police say the Challenger had fog lights and Delaware plates.

It's believed the driver of the Dodge stopped briefly at the crash scene, then drove away.
