Man, 20, injured in Frankford shooting

FRANKFORD (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are investigating a shooting in the Frankford section of the city.

It happened around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday on the 5200 block of Frankford Avenue.

A 20-year-old man says he was shot near Dyer Street. He then ran towards Pratt Street near the Frankford Transportation Terminal.

Police say the victim was shot in the leg. Police officers rushed him to Aria-Torresdale Hospital in stable condition.

So far, there is no word on suspects or a motive.
