Wilmington shooting leaves one person hospitalized

WILMINGTON, Del. (WPVI) -- Police are investigating a shooting that left one person hospitalized in Wilmington, Delaware.

It happened around 8 p.m. Wednesday in the area of the 200 block of Van Buren Street.

Police say a male was dropped off at Saint Francis Hospital for care.

They learned of the shooting from hospital officials, and managed to trace the shooting to Van Buren Street.

At this time, no word on the victim's identity or condition.

No arrests and no word on a motive.
