BRIDGETON, N.J. (WPVI) -- The man killed earlier this week by police in Bridgeton once served prison time for firing on New Jersey State Troopers.
Jerame Reid was 15 at the time.
That shooting happened back in 1994 when troopers went to his Buena home to question him about a stolen handgun.
Reid, now 36, was killed Tuesday after being pulled over by Bridgeton police.
Authorities will only say a handgun was revealed, but have yet to release any more details about the deadly traffic stop.
The Cumberland County Prosecutor's Office is continuing to investigate the shooting.
