NORRISTOWN, Pa. (WPVI) -- It was a different kind of holiday parade in the streets of Norristown Thursday, but it still brought smiles and cheers to those in attendance.
Members of Norristown's police athletic league, along with local law enforcement and fire crews, accompanied a flat bed tractor-trailer, filled with food donations for the less fortunate.
And Santa Claus was there as the items were off-loaded, by assembly line, to the Salvation Army of Norristown.
Thanks to the goodwill of members of the community, food pantries throughout montgomery county will be stocked for months.
