PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Sydney James Harcourt, an original cast member in the musical 'Hamilton', came to South Philadelphia.
Harcourt led students at Philadelphia High School for the Creative and Performing Arts Wednesday in rehearsals of songs from the musical.
The performer and CAPA students will sing the songs next month at the new Museum of the American Revolution in Philadelphia.
Joining Harcourt for the museum's opening day will be speakers: former Vice President Joe Biden, Pulitzer Prize-winning author David McCullough, and journalist Cokie Roberts.
The Museum of the American Revolution's grand opening ceremony takes place on Wednesday, April 19.
The date marks the 242nd anniversary of the "shot heard 'round the world" that ignited the Revolutionary War in 1775.
