"Hero 2 Hired" summit in New Jersey

MT. LAUREL, N.J. (WPVI) -- A South Jersey college hosted a summit Tuesday aimed at making it easier for veterans to find a job.

Rowan College at Burlington County hosted the Hero 2 Hired summit in Mount Laurel.

The goal is to educate employers in hopes of eliminating the challenges that veterans face during the hiring process.

There are more than 428 thousand veterans currently living in New Jersey alone.
