World Series odds: Yankees reclaim role as favorites

The Los Angeles Dodgersopened the season as favorites to win the World Series and finished the regular season season that way. The Dodgers had opened at +550, moved to +450 after signing Shohei Ohtani in the offseason and now sit at +425 at ESPN BET as they prepare to face theSan Diego Padresin Game 3 of the NLDS.

Once again the New York Yankeeshold top honors of being the World Series favorites, although their odds have moved from +250 to +350 after losing Game 2 of their ALDS series to theKansas City Royalson Monday, by a score of 4-2.

ThePhiladelphia Phillies(+425) are back to being the NL co-favorites as their currently tied NLDS series moves to Citi Field, home of theNew York Mets.

Game 3 for both National League series take place on Tuesday. It is an off day for the American League teams, with those series resuming on Wednesday.
