Man stabbed in chest in Hunting Park

HUNTING PARK (WPVI) -- Police are investigating the stabbing of a 37-year-old man in Philadelphia's Hunting Park section early Friday morning.

The incident happened around 1:30 a.m. on the 3900 block of North 8th Street.

According to police, a fight between two men who knew each other led to the violent attack.

The victim was taken to the hospital by medics. He is in serious but stable condition.

Police are searching for the suspect.
