A woman has reunited with her missing dog who was found over 1,000 miles away across the country.
Some could say it was the luck of the Irish.
Authorities say the dog that boarded a NJ Transit train and rode to Hoboken has been reunited with his owner.
What was supposed to be two-week vacation turned into a three-week nightmare for one dog owner.
"I'm in agony," Paula Rodriguez said. "I've been living a nightmare since Friday, knowing my baby is out there somewhere scared, or might be injured. All kinds of thoughts come into my head and I can't do anything. Every minute feels like a day."
The dog is a 12-year-old Akita German Shepard and weighs about 80 pounds.
