PENN'S LANDING -- The tall ship festival continues along the waterfront and Penn's Landing, but today the giant rubber ducky was missing.
The banks of the Delaware are bustling, crowds of people and all here for different reasons to see the tall ships.
Megan Stang of Langhorne, Pennsylvania says, "We are on a field trip with his school to see all the ships and the aquarium."
But, one thing noticeably missing today is the world's largest rubber ducky.
"I'm a little upset about that. That's one of the things we were talking about on the whole ride down here," said Megan.
Ryan Whaley of Draw Events told Action News that "She was a little camera shy yesterday."
Yesterday, you may have noticed it looked like the duck was hiding her head a bit.
It turns out she had a bit of a wardrobe malfunction. The pontoon that she rides on - ripped.
"The pontoon will be repaired. Momma duck is just fine. No damage to her whatsoever," said Whaley.
Duck or no duck, there are plenty of tall boats to see, explore and experience.
The tall ships will be here all weekend.
If you want to keep track of the rubber ducky status, organizers say, they will be sending out social media alerts.
