2 found dead after murder-suicide in Target parking lot, Philadelphia police say

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police are investigating a murder-suicide in a Target parking lot in Philadelphia's Wynnefield Heights section.

The discovery was made around 12:44 p.m. Sunday on the 4000 block of Monument Road.

Police say it appears a man shot a woman at least one time before turning the gun on himself.

Officers found the man and woman dead inside a blue Lexus.

Police have not identified the pair.

Gunfire erupted in the same Target parking lot back in January of 2020. One person died and two others were injured in that shooting.
