Teen shot at South Philadelphia rec center

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A teenager is hospitalized after a shooting at a South Philadelphia recreation center.

It happened just after 6 p.m. Wednesday at Vare Recreation Center in the 1700 block of South 26th Street.

Police say a 17-year-old male was shot in the chest.

He was taken to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia in stable condition.

No arrests have been made.
