HAVERTOWN, Pa. (WPVI) -- They work hard to deliver the mail on time year round and a group of letter carriers reached quite the milestone.
Nine postal service employees were recognized Thursday for driving more than a million miles, all accident free.
This group works out of the Upper Darby and Havertown locations.
Organizers say the drivers achieved this feat by keeping their eyes on the road, expecting the unexpected and keeping their mobile devices turned off while working.
