Route 38 reopens in Pennsauken, N.J. after crash

Two vehicles collided on Route 38 in Pennsauken, New Jersey late Thursday night.

PENNSAUKEN, N.J. (WPVI) -- Route 38 in Pennsauken is back open after a crash involving two vehicles shut down part of the road late Thursday.

The accident happened around 10:45 p.m. near Mansion Boulevard.

A witness tells Action News a vehicle was pulling out of a parking area onto Route 38 when it was struck by another vehicle.

The driver of the striking vehicle was hurt and taken to the hospital.

He is expected to be okay.

There was no immediate word on the condition of the driver or occupants of the other vehicle.

Route 38 was shut down for several hours as police investigated and workers cleared the scene of debris.
