TV anchor attack caught on camera

A Telemundo news anchor was attacked by a man and it was captured on video.

Cameras caught a man in Bakersfield, California punching Andres Herrera in the face.

Herrera says the man asked him if he worked for the news.

And when Herrera told the man yes, the man started swinging.

Herrera is the evening anchor for Telemundo.

Police say the attacker thinks the media is part of a conspiracy.

The suspect has nearly two dozen arrests involving drugs and alcohol.

He faces an assault charge.
