Boy survives being buried under avalanche for 40 minutes

A 12-year-old boy has survived after being buried under an avalanche for 40 minutes.

French police say he was skiing with a group Wednesday in the alps when he was swept away.

Rescue crews were called in and a dog sniffed out where the boy was buried.

Rescuers pulled him out and the boy was airlifted away with just a broken leg.
