Former scientist helps those of all abilities at 'Luv2Knit'

JENKINTOWN, Pennsylvania (WPVI) -- Ellen B. Rubin, a former scientist who worked in immunology, took a leap of faith to teach others about the healing powers of one of her favorite hobbies: knitting.

Rubin founded 'Luv2Knit & More,' a small shop in Jenkintown that hosts classes and lessons where people of all abilities can learn how to knit and crochet.

She also began 'Therapeutic CraftCare' to teach individuals who have autism in the Philadelphia School District.
