Armed man robs University City Wawa

UNIVERSITY CITY (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are investigating an early morning robbery of a Wawa in University City.

Police say man armed with a handgun walked into the Wawa on the 3800 block of Spruce Street around 5:00 a.m. Sunday and demanded money.

He fled on foot with an undetermined amount of cash.

No injuries were reported.
