AccuWeather: Turning brighter but staying below average

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Temperatures stay below average the next few days before milder air briefly returns for Mother's Day.

THURSDAY: After a cloudy and damp start, showers have ended with clouds breaking for sun, high 66.

FRIDAY: Breezy and cool with sunshine and a few clouds bubbling up by the afternoon. A spotty shower mainly north/west of the city can't be ruled out later in the day, high 68.

SATURDAY: Cloudy with showers developing, high 66.

SUNDAY (MOTHER'S DAY): Partly sunny and warm. A few showers later in the evening and at night can't be ruled out, high 78.

MONDAY: Mostly cloudy and cooler with showers around, high 60.

TUESDAY: Partly sunny and still cool, high 65.

WEDNESDAY: Cloudy with the chance of rain, high 64.
