PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia Mayor Cherelle Parker has now signed a set of sweeping new restrictions on immigration enforcement into law.
The mayor formally approved the package of bills known as ICE Out on Thursday, a little over two weeks after they were passed by City Council.
Among other things, the law bars federal immigration raids on city-owned property and restricts information sharing between the city and ICE.
It also codifies the city's sanctuary city status into law.
