After a seasonable day today we fall well below average for the weekend with some rain.

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- After a seasonable day today we fall well below average for the weekend with some rain.

FRIDAY: It's a much cooler day, but temperatures will be more seasonable. We're forecasting a high near 70 in the city with clouds and some sun. There will be a range in temperatures with highs in the 50s near the shore to low 70s in our far western suburbs.

SATURDAY: Mostly cloudy and cooler with some scattered showers possible, high 62.

SUNDAY: Overall a cloudy and grey day. Rain at times which could impact outdoor plans. For the Broad Street Run expect it to be raw and damp with temperatures starting in the low 50s and just the upper 50s by the end of the race. High 61.

MONDAY: Warming up again. Cloudy to start with some PM sun. Perhaps a late-day shower. High 77.

TUESDAY: Clouds and sunshine. High 80.

WEDNESDAY: Clouds and sun with a shower or thunderstorm possible. High 82.

THURSDAY: Rather cloudy with the chance for a shower or thunderstorm, high 81.
