AccuWeather: Signs of summer this Saturday

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Chilly again Thursday before a rapid rise in temperatures for the weekend.

THURSDAY: Mostly sunny and breezy with gusts to 30 mph. High of 54.

FRIDAY: A warm front approaches, and there looks to be a lot of mid level clouds as that warmer air tries to move in. High of 62.

SATURDAY: The warm front clears well north of us, and we see partly sunny skies. Temperatures will soar into the upper 70s with a few spots touching 80 not out of the question.

SUNDAY: The front tries to slip back southward, but likely stays north of Philadelphia. We will see a lot of clouds and not as warm of temperatures. High of 70 with a few showers possible late in the day.

MONDAY: Afternoon showers and potential storm for the Phillies home opener. High 70.

TUESDAY: Much cooler with some sunshine at times. High 56, which is normal for April Fools' day.
