WEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- An early morning crash in West Philadelphia sent two drivers to the hospital and debris all over the roadway.
The crash occurred around 5:20 a.m. Sunday near the intersection of 52nd and Walnut streets.
Police say a Chevrolet minivan and a Chevrolet sedan collided.
The force of the impact sent one vehicle careening through a bus shelter and into a building knocking over a utility pole in the process.
The second vehicle also knocked down several street signs and flipped a dumpster upside down.
Medics transported both male drivers to Penn Presbyterian Hospital for multiple injuries.
