Woman stabbed to death in West Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A 44-year-old woman was found stabbed to death in West Philadelphia Saturday morning.

It happened around 7:57 a.m. inside a second-floor apartment on the 700 block of North 43rd Street.

The victim suffered a stab wound to the chest. She was pronounced dead by medics at the scene.

No arrests but police did find a weapon at the murder site.
