AccuWeather: Nice and dry for Father's Day

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- It's a pleasant end to the weekend ahead of higher humidity and the threat for rain and storms Monday.

TODAY (FATHER'S DAY): Some sun with more clouds moving in later in the day, high 87.

MONDAY: The tropical humidity returns with dewpoints climbing into the 70s. Outside of something spotty, most of the morning is dry and rather cloudy. High 86.

By the afternoon we'll be watching as downpours and storms develop. Some storms could be strong to severe. Keep an eye on the forecast if you're heading to the World Cup game at 5 p.m.

TUESDAY: Showers early mainly south/east of the city. Clouds break with brighter conditions by the afternoon, high 82.

WEDNESDAY: Plenty of sunshine, high 86. Comfortable humidity.

THURSDAY: Partly sunny with a pop-up thunderstorm possible, high 85.

FRIDAY: Turning humid, scattered showers possible, high 85. Depending on rain coverage, high temperatures could be slightly lower.

SATURDAY: Partly sunny and seasonable, high 86.
