PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- It's a city tradition not to be missed by hundreds sledding down the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

"We figured lets get our bins that are covering what's packing our stuff, and we came and went down the hills," said Temple Student Daniel Varnis.

For some, like Presley Diblasi, sledding down the museum's steps was a first on Saturday.

"I went down five (times)," said Diblasi. "It's fast, and rally it's fun."

But sledding wasn't the only way to get around.

Early Sunday morning, the Action Cam caught a pair of ATVs riding down the steps.

In Old City, plow trucks struggled to keep pace with the fast-moving flakes that leave roads ice packed and slippery for those daring to taunt Mother Nature.

Those who were able to dig out, explored on foot and others by snowmobile.

"We're helping people out, picking people up," said Joseph Dougherty.
