SEPTA train service briefly delayed in Center City due to fire near Temple University Station

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A fire near the train tracks caused brief delays for SEPTA riders traveling through Center City Philadelphia on Thursday night.

Service was briefly stopped around 5 p.m. due to a fire near Temple University Station.

The train service resumed shortly after with delays of around 45 minutes.

No injuries were reported.
