Former Action News anchor Lisa Thomas-Laury pens memoir

Former Action News anchor Lisa Thomas-Laury is launching the next chapter of her life - authoring an autobiography.

Her memoir is titled: "On Camera and Off, When the News is Good and When it's Not."

The play on words refers to her groundbreaking career as a journalist at Channel 6 and her struggles dealing with a difficult medical diagnosis, the rare disorder called POEMS syndrome.

On Sunday, many of Lisa's former colleagues attended her book launch party at Evviva Restaurant in Narberth.

As you may recall, Lisa retired from Action News last year after 38 years with the station.
