Suspect sought in mini market burglary in SW Philadelphia

Police are searching for a burglar who targeted a mini market in Southwest Philadelphia.

SOUTHWEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police are searching for a burglar who targeted a mini market in Southwest Philadelphia.

It happened on March 4 inside the RP Mini Market on the 2000 block of South 64th Street.

The suspect was seen on surveillance breaking into the store just before 4 a.m. by forcing open a back door.

Once inside, he walked behind the counter and stole cigarettes, cash and other items from around the register before fleeing through a rear alleyway.

Police describe the suspect as a male of unknown race with a light complexion. He was wearing a black mask over his face and a hooded sweatshirt.
